Molly's Big Day

This was a big day for Molly! First, she helped cheer on mom's Jayhawks to a victory. Next she helped root on dad's Wildcats to victory and hopefully an NCAA invitation. After all that excitement, it was time to star in her first DVD.

She was so excited for the events of the day that she couldn't hold still, which also gave dad his first view of her moving around in mom's belly. It's one thing to feel her moving, but to actually see it was really cool.

The 4D was amazing, and even though she was playing hide and seek the entire time, we got several great pictures, and the DVD is a lot of fun.

So after dinner and such a full day, mom and Molly fell right asleep while dad, being the huge nerd that he is, updated the web site and blog!

Moving Machine

I had no idea how much babies move around and I think I've figured out ways that I can make Molly move around if she's not moving at that moment. I think Amy really appreciates me encouraging Molly to kick since she doesn't get enough jabs to the ribs the rest of the day :)

Friday is the 3D Ultrasound, there should be a bunch of pictures up this weekend, we will also verify that Molly is in fact a Molly. If not the we have a lot to change... like www.mollylafferty.com!

We had our month checkup Thursday and Molly is doing great! We also have our permission slip to get a 4-D ultrasound, so we are planning to have that done sometime this month and of course they will be posted on www.mollylafferty.com later that day :)

You can now email Molly at mollylafferty@gmail.com. Since Molly can't type very well yet, her emails will get forwarded to dad. She was so excited to have an email addesss to email all of her friends with that she started kicking and dancing.

Molly Is Viable!

Amy told me tonight at dinner that now at 24 weeks Molly is now viable. To which I responded that's really exciting... what does viable mean. In case there is anyone else out there like me, that means that Molly is now developed enough that she could be born and be able to survive.

Molly College Fund

I've had several people make fun of me and ask if I've already set up Molly's college fund, and of course I haven't set it up already. Unfortunately you can't open a 529 until you have a social security number and for some reason they make me wait until she is actually born :)

If you would like to help build Molly's college fund send cash, checks or credit card numbers to The Molly Lafferty College Fund, Inc.
